The largest church in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, commenced a Christmas celebration event themed “Rebuild of Life.”
Chongyi Church launched the Christmas celebration of 2023 in the week before Christmas on the evening of December 17.
Following the song “It’s for Love,” believers performed a Christmas play titled “Rebuild of Life,” depicting Jesus’s life. There were several representative events drawn from the Bible, telling the congregants about Jesus’s birth for incarnation, preaching life information, crucifixion for redemption, and rising for the rebuilding of life.
Subsequently, a pastor delivered a sermon, stating that men are born religious and everyone is pursuing the truth about life, both past and present, at home and abroad. The truth is Jesus' salvation following man's fall from God's creation. Finding the appropriate path in life is the only way to solve difficulties and reconstruct one's life.
The pastor called out the present seekers three times to see if some were willing to follow Jesus or continue to learn more about the Bible and Christianity. Co-workers then presented them with Bibles, invited them to pray together, and filled out information cards for follow-ups and intercession.
A young woman who attended church for the first time revealed that her coworker had invited her after seeing her online post about the occasion, and the hymns here had touched her. She is single at an older age. To seek marriage, she once stayed overnight in the mountains in winter, just to be the first to offer a stick of incense at the New Year. Now she has almost lost hope in marriage. On the steps outside the church, her colleague comforted and encouraged her with her own experience of marriage, leading her to pray to the Heavenly Father.
A man who was also there for the first time said, “I noticed that everyone around seems very peaceful, like connected to a mothership, feeling peace and relaxation.”
Another seeker agreed. She has a Christian friend whose marriage was once unhappy. After accepting Jesus, this friend managed life well without many complaints or depression, and the kid became very kind and warm-hearted.

一曲《是为了爱》后，《生命的重建》耶稣生平圣剧上演。全剧从圣经中选出几段代表性事件，讲述四幕故事：耶稣降生道成肉身、传扬生命信息、受苦作为生命赎价、复活后重建生命。
