In order to help believers form a civilized, healthy, and rational view of marriage and family, a church in Guangdong held a couple's gathering.
On August 6th, Guangzhou Shamian Church organized a couple gathering themed "Happy Music and Refined China Ministry," aiming at helping couples establish a strong relationship.
Rev. Lei Yuming, executive vice president of the Guangdong Christian Council, was invited to attend this gathering and testified with the theme "Love Is Never Tired of Waiting; Love Is Kind." Combining various contemporary marriage situations, he encouraged unmarried couples to grasp the principle of love and advised married couples to practice the true meaning of love so as to establish a beautiful marriage in true love.
Next, the Mu Guang Orchestra of Shamian Church showed the mystery of unity with music.
After the orchestra performance, with the theme "The Art of Unity", Rev. Xie Xuguang analyzed the difficulties and struggles that married couples generally faced in marriage life and encouraged them to think about marriage from the biblical principle perspective. In addition, Shamian Church also arranged a series of high-quality books and periodicals for the couples. Each couple received a book in a mystery box to read together back home.
In the next step, the church will promote fine group herding and set about establishing married couple fellowship based on families.

在乐团演奏后，谢旭广牧师以“合一艺术”为题，分析婚姻生活中已婚夫妇普遍面临的困境与挣扎，并鼓励主内弟兄姐妹思考如何从圣经的原则看待婚姻。此外，沙面堂还为每对与会夫妇整理了一系列优质书刊资源，每对夫妇以盲盒方式领取一本读物，借回去共同阅读。
下一步，该堂将推进小组精细化牧养，着手以家庭为单位建立已婚夫妇团契，。
