A church in Fujian held a dedication service.
On May 27th, a dedication service was held at the Donglin Church in Xiuyu District, Putian City, Fujian.
Reverend Lin Chaoqun delivered a sermon titled "Building a Healthy Church With One Heart" highlighting six subheadings, including "church with vision," "church with love," "church with knowledge," "church with prayer," "church with team service," and "church with mutual service."
Following the sermon, Amanuensis Lin Xiuzhen provided a brief history of the church's formation. Initially, believers from near Donglin Village, the center for more than 300 villagers, formed a fellowship. They gathered at the home of Chen Jinlu, a male believer, to attend prayer meetings every Sunday afternoon. Each household had at least one person kneeling to pray and watch with a vision of building a church.
Eventually, more believers joined, and the gathering point became too small. As a result, they moved to Chen Jinyong's home. Chen Lixiang, an overseer of the pastoral area of Shicheng Village, arranged for a pastor or volunteer to deliver a sermon at the gathering point every Sunday afternoon.
Later, they began preparing resources to acquire land and build a church. The principal three-story church building was completed from April 2005 to 2007; subsequently, in 2008, the bell tower was built, and the following year, a cross was erected. In 2023, sound equipment and other devices were installed in various rooms. Finally, after eighteen years, the church, with an area of 2,758.7 square meters (0.68 acres) within its walls, was completed and dedicated.

5月27日，莆田市秀屿区东林教会圣殿落成献堂。
林超群牧师以《同心建造健康教会》为题进行了证道，围绕“有异象的教会”“有爱心的教会”“有见识的教会”“注重祷告的教会”“团队事奉的教会”“彼此服侍的教会”六项小标题进行了阐释。
证道结束后，林秀珍文书介绍了该教堂的历史。
东林村是300多户村民的中心点，信徒就近东林村的先组成小组团契。聚会点设立在陈金禄家，每周日下午参加祷告会。每户至少一人跪着守望祷告，有建堂异象。
几个月之后，人员不断加入，聚会点已容纳不下，则移到陈金镛家中聚会。石城牧区长陈丽香每个礼拜日下午安排一名传道或义工到聚会点证道。
之后是筹备钱征地和建造，2005年4月-2007年，在此期间三层主体建造完毕；
2008年，建造钟楼，隔年矗立十字架；2023年，购置音响和三室。建堂共18年，教堂围墙内占地面积2758.7平方米。
