A church in East China’s Zhejiang Province held an etiquette training course for receptionists at ministries of foreign affairs and a friendly table tennis match to welcome the 2023 Asian Games.
Hangzhou CC&TSPM and the Hangzhou Christian Family and Elderly Service Center jointly organized the etiquette training course, aiming at enhancing the etiquette quality of receptionist volunteers and standardizing their public relations etiquette. According to the Hangzhou CC&TSPM, over 90 Christian volunteers who are proficient in foreign languages such as English, Japanese, Korean, and Russian attended the course on May 27, 2023, at Sicheng Church. They come from the reception ministries of Chongyi Church, Chengbei Church, Gongchen Church, Gulou Church, Sicheng Church, Tianshui Church, and Hangzhou YWCA.
Chen Limei, an associate professor of flight attendant at the School of Art of Zhejiang Tourism Vocational College and an expert in international civilized etiquette for the Hangzhou Asian Games, was invited to give a lecture. It incorporated topics such as "an overview of foreign volunteer etiquette", "etiquette norms of volunteer service", "volunteer civilized language norms and daily language", and "customs and taboos of countries in the Asian Games." She used classroom explanation, case analysis, and on-site interaction to explain the important aspects of receiving etiquette, including personal image, manners, expressions, personal clothing, and civilized language.
Moreover, to prepare for the upcoming Asian Games, Sicheng Church and Gospel Church in Xietong Community, Binjiang District jointly held a friendly table tennis match on May 27. In the team competition, Gospel Church emerged victorious with a score of 3 to 2. The individual competition also yielded result determinations for the women's champion and runners-up and the men's top four players.
Rev. Huang Mingke, senior pastor of Sicheng Church, said, "As Sicheng Church is a crucial reception place for the Christian community during the Asian Games, good environmental beautification and green plant care are fundamental."

浙江旅游职业学院艺术学院空乘专业副教授、杭州亚运会国际文明礼仪专家陈丽梅应邀作“2023年迎亚运志愿者外事接待礼仪培训”讲座，她从“涉外志愿者礼仪概述”、“志愿服务礼仪规范”、“志愿者文明用语规范和日常用语”、“亚运各国习俗禁忌”等五个方面，通过“课堂讲解+案例分析+现场互动”的形式，讲解了志愿者礼仪接待，个人形象、仪态表情、个人服饰、文明用语等。
为助力亚运，杭州市基督教思澄堂和滨江区协同福音堂于2023年5月27日，联合举办乒乓球联谊赛。
协同堂乒乓球队以3比2夺得团体赛的冠军。个人赛决出女子冠亚军和男子前四名。
5月28日，思澄堂教会为“花卉组”两名80多岁高龄的老弟兄举行了荣退仪式，并赠送大字版圣经和经文摆件。
黄明科牧师勉励说：今年是杭州的亚运年，思澄堂作为亚运年基督教界的重要接待场所，在绿植护理及环境美化需要做好。
