Jiangsu Church Rolls Out Sacred Music Training Courses

据淮安市基督教两会，3月13日至17日，为提高教会同工与信徒的音乐素养，江苏省淮安市洪泽区三自爱国运动委员会在岔河合兴教堂举办了为期五天的圣乐培训班，来自全区的65位学员参加了培训。

本次培训班邀请了淮安市基督教两会副主席兼总干事张丽丽牧师为学员授课。张牧师不仅在理论层面，对圣乐的定义、诗班在崇拜中的功能以及诗班成员的服侍，作了细致的讲解，也在实践层面，对学员的发声训练和圣诗指挥进行了一对一的指导。3月16日晚，学员们还举行了感恩敬拜赞美，在实操中检验自己所学。

3月20日，洪泽区三自爱国运动委员会同样在岔河合兴教堂举行圣经培训开班典礼，来自全区各场所的71位学员参加了开班典礼。

A church in east China's Jiangsu province conducted a Bible class and sacred music training courses for believers.

To improve the musical skills of church staff and believers, Hongze District Three-Self Patriotic Movement (TSPM) in Huai'an City held a five-day sacred music training class for 65 persons at Hexing Church in Chahe Town from March 13 to 17, as stated by Huai’an CC&TSPM.

Rev. Zhang Lili, vice chairman and general secretary of the Huai'an Christian Council (CC), was invited to give lectures, explaining what sacred music was, the function of choirs in worship, and how to serve in the choir. She also gave one-on-one coaching on vocal exercises and conducted a hymn. On the evening of March 16, trainees also attended a worship and praise meeting, practicing what they had learned.

On March 20, Hongze District TSPM also held the opening ceremony of a Bible class in this church, with 71 participants from venues in the district.
