An ordination ceremony was held at a church in west China’s Shaanxi Province.

Shaanxi CC&TSPM reported that 17 pastors and 26 elders were ordained on March 10 at Dongxin Lane Church, Xi’an City.

Rev. Yang Xiaohong, vice chairman and vice president of the Xi'an Municipal CC&TSPM, delivered a sermon titled "Learn to Be a Good Shepherd", exhorting staff workers about to be appointed to continue to develop their duties, gifts, talents, abilities of teaching and pastoral care, and to bear witness to Christ.

After they shared their understanding of the office to which they have been called, 43 clergymen were laid hands on, receiving clerical stoles, teaching certificates, and souvenirs.
