Several churches in China’s southeastern coastal Guangdong Province carried out joint church activities.

Savior Church, Shifu Church, Fangcun Church, and Shiqiao Church in Guangzhou on October 16 organized preaching and communication activities, according to Guangzhou CC&TSPM.

Rev. Chen Chan of Shifu Church went to Savior Church to preach a sermon titled "Moving Forward by Faith", citing Luke 17:5-10 about the teachings of Jesus on faith and humility. She encouraged believers to move forward with faith in the Lord's promises, and do their duties to serve the Lord.

Based on Genesis 49:22-26, Rev. Hong Enci of Shiqiao Church delivered a sermon titled "Branch With More Fruit" in Fangcun Church. Through Jacob's blessing to Joseph, the pastor exhorted Christians to love each other, to obey the Lord's will to share the gospel, and to be like a fruit tree planted by a stream that could bring forth more fruit.
