Guangdong Union Theological Seminary held a thematic seminar about “Science and Faith”.

Dr. Paul Zhang of South China Normal University was invited on October 12 to deliver a speech focusing on the interrelationship of science, philosophy, and faith, according to CCC&TSPM.

He explained the influence of philosophy on science and faith through historical events, pointing out that the scientific spirit and critical thinking were intrinsically unified and the Christianity faith should not be anti-intellectual. He reminded theological students to be open-minded and learn more about social sciences.
