To show care for pastors, a ministry in Xiapu County, Ningde, Fujian held the second “Love Pastors” festival.
In the "Shepherd's Home" event initially held by believers on October 10, Rev. Deng Lingyong, Chairman and President of Xiapu County CC&TSPM, affirmed the many actions the ministry has done to care for pastors since its establishment last year, especially caring for them during the epidemic, Xiapu CC&TSPM said.
During the conversation, Rev. Deng shared the title of Acts 14:15, "Friends, Why Are You Doing This? We Too Are Only Human, Like You!" Since pastors are also human, there are also many weaknesses and temptations, so care and consideration are needed. Rev. Deng emphasized that a believer who truly loves the Lord should also love the pastor of his church. Finally, he also called on believers to communicate with the pastor, listen to them, and lend a helping hand in times when the pastor is in need.
Pastor Chen Anhua, a pastor from Xiapu who works in Tianan Church in Fuzhou, was also invited to preach. He encouraged pastors to learn to be like Jesus because Jesus is a good shepherd and an example for all pastors. Quoting the verses of 1 Peter 5:2-4, he exhorted them to be shepherds of God’s flock that is under their care, watching over them — not because they must, but because they are willing, as God wants them to be. He encouraged them not to pursue dishonest gain, but eager to serve or not to lord it over those entrusted to them, but to be examples to the flock.
Nearly 100 pastors participated in games and interaction part of the event to relax their minds and bodies.

10月10日，在由福建宁德霞浦“牧人之家”举办了的活动中，县基督教两会主席、会长邓灵勇牧师肯定了“牧人之家”自去年成立以来所做的关爱牧者的诸多行动，特别是在疫情期间对牧者的关爱，据霞浦县基督教两会。
在谈话中，邓牧师以使徒行传14章15节经文“诸君，为什么做这事呢？我们也是人，性情和你们一样！”为分享。既然牧者也是人，就也有许多的软弱和试探，因此需要大家的关怀和体贴。并坦言一个真正爱主的信徒，也应当爱自己教会的牧者。最后他还呼吁信徒，要多与牧者沟通，多倾听牧者的心声，看到牧者有需要时要及时伸出援手。
在福州天安堂侍奉的霞浦籍牧者陈安俤牧师，应邀证道。他勉励牧者们要学像耶稣，因为耶稣是好牧人，是所有牧者的榜样。他借着彼得前书5章2-4节经文中，劝勉牧者按着神的旨意照管羊群，不是出于勉强，乃是出于甘心；也不是因为贪财，乃是出于乐意；按着 神旨意照管他们；不是出于勉强，乃是出于甘心；也不是因为贪财，乃是出于乐意；也不是辖制所托付他们的，乃是作群羊的榜样。
