Church choirs in China’s southeastern coastal Fujian Province presented hymns to welcome the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

On September 25 in Jieguanting Church, the church choir and another choir from Dongbanhou Church performed in a praise meeting, joined by a Xiamen-based Christian band who came to play and sang the song titled "Thanksgiving Offering".

Rev. Zhuang Jingcheng, chairman and president of Zhangzhou CC&TSPM, preached a sermon titled "The Church is at Peace When the Country is Strong", citing 1 Timothy 2:1-3. He encouraged the attendees to pray for all people, kings, and all those in authority to live peaceful and quiet lives in godliness and holiness.

Dongbanhou Church choir sang an original Christian Sinicization Song "May You Always Be Glorious" written by Rev. Zhuang, pushing the meeting to a climax.
