Guangdong Churches Hold 'Honor the Elderly' Activities Before Mid-Autumn Festival

上周二广州百年锡安堂通过微信公众平台发布信息，邀请教会弟兄姊妹带上家中七十岁以上的长者前来参加该堂将于9月4日举办尊老敬老活动。当天教会会向长者赠送鲜花及月饼。

近日，救主堂、光孝堂等堂会藉中秋佳节来临之际，组织堂会教牧同工慰问探望退休牧者同工，关心退休牧者同工的身体状况，据广州市基督教两会。

Guangdong churches on China's southeastern coast held activities to celebrate the Chinese Senior’s Day and Mid-Autumn Festival which falls on September 10 this year.

On its official WeChat account last Tuesday, Guangzhou Zion Church released a message, inviting the congregation to bring their senior family members over 70 to participate in the "Honor the Elderly" activity on September 4.

On that day, the church presented flowers and mooncakes to the elderly.

In late August, Savior Church and Guangxiao Church in Guangzhou sent mooncakes and money to retired pastors and church staff to mark Mid-Autumn Festival.
