Guangzhou Church to Continue Holding Lecture on Cancer to Spread Health Knowlegde

"为普及健康知识"，中国东南沿海的广东省的一个教堂将举办关于癌症方面的讲座。

8月2日，广州基督教沙面会堂通过微信公众平台发布通知，该堂将于8月7日开展“防癌要识癌”健康讲座。

讲座安排在沙面堂早堂崇拜结束后，10点在书刊室举办。主讲人张文颖医生，广州中医药大学金沙洲医院国际肿瘤医疗中心一病区副主任，放疗中心院长助理；广东省抗癌协会姑息青委会委员。

"To promulgate health knowledge", a church in China's southeast coastal Guangdong province will continue to host a lecture about cancer.

On its official WeChat account on August 2, Shamian Church in Guangzhou released an announcement, saying it will host a health seminar on ‘Acknowledge Cancers to Prevent Them’ on August 7.

A recent health lecture was given by an oncologist with the theme of "Early Detection and Treatment" on July 17. 

The lecture is scheduled after the morning service in the library of the church. The keynote speaker is Dr. Zhang Wenying, who is the deputy director of Ward 1 in the International Cancer Medical Center of Jinshazhou Hospital in Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, assistant dean of Radiotherapy Center, and a member of the Palliative Youth Committee of Guangdong Anti-Cancer Association.
