A church in Fujian Province on China’s southeastern coast held a service for retired pastors.
Xiuyu District CC&TSPM in Putian City, Fujian Province hosted a service on July 7th at Huashi Church for the retirement of seven pastors who used to serve in the district. Rev. Huang Songyan delivered a sermon titled "Everything is Prosperous", sharing on "prayer for the retired pastors being well" and "prayer for the retired pastor to serve the Lord smoothly", reported Fujian CC&TSPM.
Rev. Huang Guoqing, one of the retired pastors, delivered a speech, reviewing his ministry experience of more than 30 years, especially his ambition at the beginning of serving and his insights at the time of retirement. Huang expressed that he had expectations for the future in need of reflection with gratitude. Meanwhile, he encouraged the younger generation to serve God with all their heart, soul, strength, and mind, exhorting retired pastors to cherish their time to do more of His work and to retire without resting.
Rev. Chen Guo’en, also retired, gave his testimony titled "What kind of person I have become today is because of God’s grace", saying that every servant of God who was an ordinary person achieved an extraordinary position because of God's grace. He earnestly urged church staff to work with gratitude, for all the results of ministries were from His grace.
In the end, retired pastors were presented with honorary certificates, souvenirs, and gifts.

7月7日，福建省莆田市秀屿区基督教两会在笏石基督教堂举行秀屿区基督教牧者退休感恩礼拜，黄松岩牧师以《凡事兴盛》为题证道，他分享了“祈祷祝愿退休牧者心安体健”“祈祷祝愿退休牧者侍主顺遂”两个方面。据福建省基督教两会。
退休牧者黄国清牧师发表感言，他回顾三十多年的事奉历程，事奉之初的心志与退休之际的感悟，黄牧师表示充满感恩、需要反思、有所期盼，勉励后辈同工要尽心、尽性、尽力、尽意服侍主，劝勉退休牧者珍惜光阴，退而不休，竭力多做主工。
退休牧者陈国恩牧师以“我今日成了何等人，是蒙神的恩才成的”，见证每个事奉者都是平凡的人，但是因着神的恩典拥有不平凡的位份，他殷切勉励事奉者要用感恩的心服侍，因为所有的服侍果效都是因着神恩而成的。
最后，退休牧者被颁发荣誉证书，纪念品，和礼物。
