A Chrisitan congregation in Jiangsu Province distributed nearly 100 instant noodles to expressway drivers.
On April 2, a believer at the Christian Church in Haimen Town, Nantong, saw many vehicles entering Haimen from other places that had stopped at the highway entrance, according to the official WeChat account of the Nantong Three-Self Patriotic Movement Committee (TSPM). Upon further inspection, they learned that the driver's travel code had been marked with an asterisk. According to the epidemic prevention and control requirements, these vehicles and drivers must temporarily stay at the expressway for observation.
In addition, after knowing that many drivers had no way to eat, this Christian worked with other believers in the Haimen Church to provide free meals for these drivers. On the evening of April 2, members from Haimen Church distributed nearly 100 instant noodles to the drivers at Haimen Expressway and Yuelai Expressway.
On April 3 and 4, Haimen Church organized another group of believers to cook hundreds of meals for truck drivers who stayed at Yuelai Expressway. These drivers were touched by their deeds, and also expressed their gratitude to the church.
