Before the Spring Festival which falls on February 1, churches in Shanxi and Jiangsu Province cared for elderly, and underprivileged Christians and non-Christians, and COVID-19 frontline workers

Dongwang Church in Xinfu District, Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, on January 24 visited the elderly, sick, impoverished believers and unbelievers in need, who live in the area near where the church is located, bringing rice, cooking oil, and other offerings, Shanxi TSPM said.

Since the Christmas of 2021 until January 26 of this year, Xiangcheng Church in Suzhou, Jiangsu, had paid a series of visits to one non-Christian family and 41 households of believers, either in their homes or through workshops established by themselves, according to Suzhou CC&TSPM.

The staff from the Cheng District Christian Council (CC) in Jincheng City, Shanxi Province, presented hand warmers, eight treasure congees, and instant noodles on January 28 to pandemic prevention workers in Guanxiang Community Neighborhood Committee, Cheng District CC&TSPM reported.
