Two churches in Shandong, Jilin Province brought food supplies to underprivileged people and elderly Christians in January.
On January 18, together with the social service department of district CC&TSPM, Yunbutun Church in Yicheng District, Zaozhuang, Shandong, visited more than 80 needy families and senior believers in nearby villages, distributing rice, cooking oil, and flour, according to Jesus Church in Yicheng District.
On the morning of January 26, pastoral staff and members of Haikou Road Church in Changchun, Jilin, attended a charity event conducted by local governments, bringing rice, flour, and soybean oil. Besides sending this food to them, Rev. Yan asked about their physical condition and their difficulties in life, the church reported.
That afternoon, along with some church staff, the pastor paid a series of visits to struggling or aged believers, presenting food supplies and money in red envelopes to them.

26日下午,在社会的慰问探访结束后,他又带领多位同工探访了有需要的信徒和年老的弟兄姐妹,把一袋袋大米白面、一桶桶豆油、一个个慰问红包传递到弟兄姐妹手中
