A baptism for nine seekers was held in a Guangdong church.

On October 12, Guangxiao Church in Guangzhou held the 62nd session of baptism, in which nine catechumens became Christians after receiving training in a seeker’s class for three months and passing a test demonstrating their understanding of the Christian faith, according to the church.

Baptism is a sacred ceremony for Christians to confess their faith in Christ, be united with the Lord, and then become church members. It is also a symbol of the forgiveness of sins, self-denial, burial, and salvation from sins, as well as the union with the Lord in His death and resurrection.
