Jiangsu Church Mourns an Elder

2021年10月31日，使徒堂在主堂举行周继峰长老追思礼拜。

礼拜在庄严肃静的诗歌中开始，黄牧师更是以《提摩太后书》4：6-8和《启示录》14：13的经文来劝勉安慰周长老的亲属，同时激励众信徒长存盼望忍耐的心志，努力奔走十架路。同时通过图片展示，黄牧师带领众人追忆周长老殷勤事主、忠心尽职的一生。在教内教外，他都勇于作光作盐，荣神益人。

周继锋长老（1943.11.5-2020.12.31）于1994年 8月按立为使徒堂长老，一直积极参与使徒堂的的服侍工作。

A Jiangsu Church hosted a memorial service for an elder who died at the age of 51.

The service began with solemn hymns on October 31 in Apostle Church, Suzhou, after which there was a sermon from Rev. Huang based on 2 Timothy 4:6-8 and Revelation 14:13. Besides exhorting and comforting relatives of Elder Zhou Jifeng, Huang inspired all believers to walk the road of the cross with patience and hope. Through showing some pictures, the pastor led the people to recall the life of Elder Zhou who served God through his whole life and helped others inside and outside churches.

Born in 1943, Zhou was ordained as an elder in August 1994 and served in the Apostles’ Church.
