Guangdong Church Celebrates 130th Anniversary

10月16日，广东省台山市基督教两会在台城堂举行“台山教会复堂40周年暨台城堂建堂130周年”庆典。

广东省基督教三自爱国会主席樊宏恩牧师应邀在感恩崇拜中证道。他以“传福音的无名者”为题，透过圣经人物撒玛利亚妇人对耶稣基督逐步地加深认识和提升，直至个人的生命改变，成为默默无闻，勇于为主作见证的经历，劝勉同工同道要以生命影响生命，传扬福音，复兴主的教会。

受疫情影响，不少海外的台山籍弟兄姊妹未能前来参加本次庆典，纷纷发来贺电或赠送纪念品

庆典在诗歌《荣耀归神》的赞美声中结束。

A Guangdong church held a celebration for the 40th anniversary of its resumption and the 130th anniversary of its foundation.

In the thanksgiving service held on October 16 in Taicheng Church, Taishan City, Rev. Fan Hongen, chairman of Guangdong TSPM, preached a sermon titled “An Unknown Person Preaching the Gospel”, sharing the experience of a Samaritan woman who bore witness to the Lord in obscurity after her personal life changed through a growing knowledge of Him. He exhorted the church staff to share the gospel to revive the Lord’s churches and to influence others by their own lives.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many Taishan Christians living overseas who failed to attend the in-person celebration sent congratulatory messages or souvenirs.

The celebration ended with the hymn Glory to God.
