A church in China’s south-eastern coastal Guangdong Province, dedicated an organ at its anniversary commemoration service.

On September 19, Guangzhou Shifu Church held celebrations to mark its 159th anniversary and the 38th anniversary of reopening, according to Guangzhou CC&TSPM.

Adopting the four-fold pattern of worship, the service consisted of four parts: gathering, the word, the response to the word, and sending out into the world.

Then the dedication ceremony of the newly purchased organ was conducted.

Later on, the church also carried out activities to honor the elderly, giving out gifts to them. Souvenirs of the church reopening and a daily prayer book were distributed to the congregation after the service.
