A Shanxi church issued a proposal to hold a charity bazaar to help people in need.

On its official WeChat account on September 16, Cheng District Church in Jincheng, China’s north-eastern Shanxi Province announced that it would launch a public welfare activity themed "Charity, Love, and Dedication, I am an Actor", encouraging people from all walks of life to donate idle items (over 70% or brand new) for charity sale.

The event will be held in the courtyard of the church from September 19 to 26, with all the money donated to people in distress. At the end of the announcement, the church encouraged its members and non-Christians to participate in the activity.
