A Guangdong church announced the implementation of the measure of "double suspension" on July 26, which refers to suspending the opening of places of worship and religious activities.

After receiving the notification on Monday from the religious affairs bureau of Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai, Guangdong, Xiangzhou Church urged its members to abide by the requirements for pandemic prevention and control till further notice.

According to the report from the Guangdong Provincial Health Commission on July 26, during a close contact investigation, they discovered last Sunday a new asymptomatic carrier of COVID-19 in Zhuhai, who came back from Lukou International Airport in Nanjing, Jiangsu.
