Recently, the pastoral group of Yaodu District CC&TSPM in Linfen, Shanxi, compiled and printed a sermon collection, supplying it to local pastoral staff for reference.
The book (collection), named "Spreading Information of the Times, Living a Victorious Life", will serve as a source of internal learning materials. Fourteen sermon articles once shared online by local pastors were collected, in order to "improve the level of pastoral care and promote the growth of the believers’ spiritual lives."
The preface states, “Preaching the gospel is undoubtedly the most important part of the church’s pastoral ministry, as apostles once said that they would give their attention to prayer and the ministry of the word (Acts 6:4). Sermons can give the congregation correct guidance, strengthen their faith, and establish the authority of the Bible in them. The purpose of preaching is to build up the body of Christ until believers all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining the whole measure of the fullness of Christ… so that the body grows and builds itself up in love (Ephesians 4:12-16)."
In 2020, all in-person gatherings were suspended, while believers faced challenges due to the outbreak of COVID-19. After the suspension of onsite services from the first day of the first lunar month in 2020, the pastoral group opened the "Linfen Pastoral" WeChat account. In addition to recording and broadcasting Sunday services, they also webcasted sermons every Thursday night. In response to the situation faced by the congregation, the pastoral staff prayed and prepared sermons to instill calm amongst believers and resist heresies.
Combined with the teachings of the Bible, the collection covers different topics, including dedicated service, returning to salvation, living like Christ, responding to the call, longing for truth, overcoming anxiety, enjoying peace, working hard, witnessing the glory of God, being a grateful person and a good steward, etc.

为提升讲道牧养水平，促进信徒灵命增长，近日山西临汾市尧都区基督教两会教牧组编印了《“传时代信息，过得胜生活”讲道集》（内部学习资料）一书，发放给广大教职人员学习参考。
序言指出“讲道，无疑是教会牧养事工中最重要的一环，使徒们曾说过，他们的主要工作就是祈祷和传道（徒6:4）；讲道能给会众以正确的指引，讲道能给会众坚立真信心，讲道能真正建立圣经在会众中的权威。讲道的目的是：建立基督的身体，直等到我们众人在真道上同归于一，认识神的儿子，得以长大成人，满有耶稣基督长成的身量……便叫身体渐渐增长，在爱中建立自己（弗4:12—16）”。
本书收录了2020年本教会教牧同工及传道人14篇在本堂讲过（网络直播）的证道文章。2020年新冠肺炎疫情袭来，所有聚集性活动暂停，信徒信仰面临巨大挑战。临汾尧都区基督教会在正月初一暂停礼拜后，教牧组迅速开展了网络牧养事工，开通了“临汾教牧”公众号，开通了直播间，除主日证道录播外，每周四晚上开始直播讲道牧养事工，针对大家面临的处境，教牧同工精心祈祷预备讲道，按时分粮，有针对性地喂养浇灌，及时发出“教会好声音”，安抚稳定了信徒的慌乱情绪，有效抵制了异端邪说。
这些讲稿分别从专一事奉、回归蒙恩、活出基督、回应呼召、切慕追求、知恩感恩，胜过忧虑、得享平安、奋力作工、做好管家、见证荣光等方面从不同角度结合圣经教训进行了分享。
