A Jiangsu church announced the resumption of on-site services under the premise of measures for coronavirus pandemic control and prevention.
Xiangcheng Church in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, released a notice last Thursday on its official WeChat account, stating that from that day on, it would resume services for Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings.
The church reminded churchgoers to sit one meter apart, and newcomers are required to bring along their ID cards for real-name registration.
“The elderly, infirm, pregnant women and minors are advised not to gather in the church, but to attend the online worship services on WeChat”, the church said.
“With the task of greeting newcomers suspended, the church still conducts online pastoral care through various fellowships and groups from Monday to Friday; all other onsite services remain suspended until further notice.”
