The first Sunday worship session of this March resumed on Sunday.
Beihai Church in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region held its second online communion service under the special circumstances of suspended onsite gatherings due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The church prepared disposable cups for the communion service. The fellow workers prepared the communion for the believers in advance, distributing them in eucharistic containers.
According to the church's plan, in order to ensure that more believers could receive the Holy Communion during worship, the church made specific arrangements: The heads or designated persons of each choir or fellowship should get the communion bags for their choirs in advance and distribute to all the members. Believers who did not serve in any choir or fellowship could also get the Communion bags at the church gate. During the Sunday worship, there was a live broadcast of the Communion rite. Believers could receive communion at home while following the broadcast. Some believers went to the church to receive it on Saturday, then returned home to wait for the online Sunday worship. From morning to evening on that Sunday, Beihai Church held four online communion services, with Elders Jia Ke and Liang Yan mostly serving as preachers.
Combining the upcoming Women's Day with the salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ, the two preachers shared relevant scriptures and sermons, titled "Blessed Woman", "In Memory of the Lord" and "A Woman and Herself."
Pastor Huang Zhengxin, dressed in an attire, presided over three communion services. In front of the altar of the main church, he led the workers and believers on the path to reading the Bible, reflecting about themselves, and remembering the grace of the Lord. He broke bread for the Communion services, consecrated it, and blessed the congregation. Elder Jia Ke presided over the Eucharistic service after he preached at the fourth communion service in the evening.
