Suzhou Churches Halt In-Person Services Due to COVID-19

按照最新疫情防控要求，接上级部门关于暂停线下礼拜的通知，苏州市基督教宫巷堂、狮山堂、使徒堂、相城堂、独墅湖堂等都将从1月25日起暂停线下礼拜聚会，恢复时间另行通知。

教会继续说，线下礼拜聚会暂停后，信徒可通过本堂微信公众号、QQ群等方式参加线上聚会。需要代祷和探访的弟兄姐妹，可在微信公众号留言或拨打教会电话告知教会牧者。

此外，教会提醒弟兄姐妹防范异端邪教，不去陌生的聚会点聚会，不随意传播未经确认的消息或资讯。

In China’s costal-southeastern Jiangsu Province, many churches in Suzhou announced the suspension all on-site gatherings from now until further notice, due to the resurgence of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Suzhou decided to close churches from Monday, following the guidelines of higher authorities. The churches include the Temple Lane Christian Church, Lion Mountain Christ Church, Apostle Church, Xiangcheng Church and Dushu Lake Church.

The churches instructed the churchgoers to participate in online services on their WeChat official accounts or QQ groups. They were also told to leave a message on the WeChat accounts or call the pastors in the churches if they needed prayer or pastoral staff’s visit.

In addition, the churches also reminded their members to resist heretical cults, not to gather in strange places and not to spread unconfirmed news or information.
