On the morning of November 26, the church in the city of Manyun in Yunnan province held a ceremony to unveil Christian religious activity sites.
The ceremony began with the national anthem and the raising of the flag, according to the church. Nearly a hundred church leaders attended the unveiling ceremony, receiving plaques that listed the names of the religious sites.
Pastor Yanwen, president of the autonomous prefecture’s Christian Council, gave a speech. He reviewed the 29-year development of the Christian council and considered this event as a leap forward in the Sinicization of Christianity.
Yu Kannen, director of the autonomous prefecture Ethnic & Religious Affairs Bureau, said that Christians in the autonomous prefecture contributed to the promotion of the Sinicization of Christianity and religious harmony. They also held orderly worship services and took part in public welfare and charity events. He said that through this event, the Christian Council could guide the believers to have a correct view of the relationship between national laws and the regulations of the churches.

2020年11月26日上午,曼允基督教会举行“基督教宗教活动场所挂牌仪式”,伴随着升旗仪式和国歌声。
仪式正式开始,会议由州民宗局副局长王俊鹏主持,有近百名教会堂点代表参加了本次揭牌仪式。州委领导给各堂点颁发宗教活动场所牌匾。
先由州民宗局局长玉坎嫩发表讲话,玉局长在讲话中谈到:州基督教界在维护正常宗教秩序、基督教中国化建设以及公益慈善活动、及促进宗教和谐方面做出了积极贡献;他还谈到:“希望基督教协会以此挂牌活动为契机,引导信众正确看待国法与教规的关系。”
接着,由西双版纳州基督教协会会长岩温牧师发表讲话,岩温牧师回顾了基督教协会29年的发展历程,也认为此次统一挂牌命名意味着基督教中国化下的一次新跨越。
