TThe churches in Hanzhong, China's northern Shaanxi Province, launched a charity campaign for the month of November.
The four-week campaign included clothing donation, financial contributions, beauty treatment, free haircuts, and a health clinic, according to Shaanxi CC&TSPM.
More than one thousand pieces of clothing, shoes and hats, as well as bicycles, were donated by local believers and everything was sold.
Doctors from local hospitals offered to diagnose and provide treatment for weak and elderly persons.
Christian beauticians and hairdressers served the participants, using their own equipment.
On November 29, Rev. Qing Hongjun preached a Sunday sermon on the meaning of giving, encouraging the congregation to make donations. The believers responded positively.
Qing said that since the power of God should be revealed in society, Christians should explore the ethics in the Bible to serve the public. Social charities are also a starting point to witness for the Christian faith and for the growth of a healthy church.

在推进基督教中国化的进程中，为将慈善精神落到实处，汉中市汉台区教会在主任齐红军牧师的倡议和带领下，开展了由爱心志愿者参与的“感恩慈善月”系列爱心活动。
2020年11月的第一周为爱心捐衣物活动。
爱心志愿者们将弟兄姐妹们爱心捐献的衣服、鞋帽、自行车等上千件物品依次摆出来，供有需要的人挑选。
最后，这些衣物全部被新主人领走。
第二周为“爱心义诊”活动。
教会邀请市中心医院、铁路医院、3201医院、康源风湿病医院等医学专家出诊，为有需要的患者诊断和治疗，有体弱年老的人当即表示十分感恩。
第三周为“爱心美容美发”活动。
教会邀请的美容美发师都是主内肢体，他们自带“兵器”，加入爱心服侍的行列。
他们在付出中不仅体验到服务和奉献的快乐，也赢得了众人的尊重和喜爱，可谓收获满满。
第四周是“爱心捐款”活动。
11月29日主日，齐红军牧师以“施比受更为有福”为题证道，从“施者有福”“施中有爱”“施中有信”“施中有望”“施在当下”五个方面阐释了“施予”的意义。
礼拜后，弟兄姐妹们纷纷慷慨解囊，积极奉献。
紧张有序的“感恩慈善月”圆满地结束。
齐牧师对活动作了总结，对爱心志愿者和义工们的付出表示感谢。
他强调了教会开展公益慈善活动的重要意义：基督教福音就是要在社会中彰显出上帝的大能，挖掘和利用好圣经的伦理道德资源，服务社会；同时，开展社会公益慈善活动也是见证信仰一个着手点，是推动教会健康发展应有见证；是实践社会主义核心价值观的具体体现。
