Freshmen are required to have a negative result on their nucleic acid test, taken within five days, and need to present evidence of the test to the national school, according to the seminary. They also need to have their health code checked upon arrival at school.
The notice stated that the admission letter would be soon sent out and also announced the list of candidates in different subject areas who had completed the admission procedures. Some candidates from several provinces who had not yet completed the admission process are to be informed of their admission results at a later date.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the registration of new students in the Nanjing Union Theological Seminary was affected since the entrance examination was delayed. Except for this seminary, the resumption of classes in other seminaries also has been affected, especially regional and national seminaries.
For example, freshmen of the Yanjing Theological Seminary registered and upper-class students returned to school on October 26-28. East China Theological Seminary welcomed students back to school on October 26, and freshmen completed their registration on November 13. Other local seminaries such as the Jiangxi Bible School and Anhui Theological Seminary, which had completed the registration of freshmen and returning students, were now adjusting their teaching tasks that have been affected by the pandemic and making efforts to follow up.
