On October 20, the Research Department of Zhongnan Theological Seminary held a Seminar on how to write an academic thesis.
The seminar was presided over by Rev. Xiao Anping, deputy president of Hubei CC&TSPM and deputy president of Zhongnan Theological Seminary, attended by some students and teachers, according to Hubei CC&TSPM.
Rev. Xiao explained in detail how to write a high-quality academic term paper in his speech entitled, "The Essentials and Value of Term Papers". Rev. Zhao Weihong, director of the media department of the seminary, defined and gave characteristics of an academic thesis and instructions on writing. Pastor Zhao Qiufen, director of academic affairs of the seminary, explained the basic structure of an academic thesis and what should be paid attention to in writing.
As the coronavirus pandemic continues, this was the first seminar in the fall semester of 2020. Its purpose was to guide each student in the writing of a term paper and academic thesis.
Founded in 1985, Zhongnan Theological Seminary has a four-year undergraduate course. Located in Wuchang, Wuhan, Hubei Province, the school owns 15 teachers, 165 students enrolled, and 5 classes(includes pastoral college class).

讲座由湖北省基督教协会副会长、中南神学院副院长肖安平牧师主持。中南神学院部分学生与老师参加了会议。
肖安平牧师针对《学期论文的要旨与价值》，详细讲解了如何写一篇质量高的优秀的学期论文；中南神学院传媒部主任赵卫红牧师以《认识学术论文》为题讲解了学术论文的定义、学术论文的特点、学术论文的撰写程序；中南神学院教务主任赵秋芬牧师从《学术论文的构思与写作》方面讲解了学术论文的基本架构以及写作方面应注意的事项。
这是中南神学院在2020年秋学期第一次讲座学习，也是疫情转好后第一次公开讲座，旨在对每位同学在学期论文及毕业论文的写作方面给予带领。
