Hubei Urges Churches to Stop Food Waste

Recently, the Hubei CC&TSPM launched an anti-food waste initiative among local registered churches in response to the national crackdown campaign.

The directive gives four suggestions on how to avoid wasting food, according to Hubei CC&TSPM. 

In early August, President Xi Jinping highlighted the importance of reducing waste. 

As of February 7, the churches throughout the province donated more than 670,000 yuan through a provincial charity association and other channels.
