On August 7, Shuguang Church in Baoji, China's western Shaanxi held a memorial service for Pastor Li Jian, who died at the age of 38.
Elder Yi Lianmei gave the eulogy for Pastor Li. She shared details about Pastor Li’s brief life, focusing on the work he did for the Lord and his ministry at the Shuguang Church and in his brothers’ churches for the past 18 years.
She recounted touching stories of Pastor Li, who struggled with the illness that hospitalized him from October last year until he returned to his Heavenly Family and rested in the Lord on March 11, 2020. At the end of the eulogy, Elder Yi Lianmei reported the good news that Pastor Li had been recommended for ordination by the church in February before his death. This had not been made public because of the current pandemic and his early death. Despite this, Elder Yi Lianmei said: "Please allow me to say, Pastor Li rest in peace!"
Sister Huang, Pastor Li’s wife, and his relatives also shared at the memorial, recalling his life of faith and how loved the Lord and took good care of his family.

李建牧师逝世，享年38岁
2020年8月7日，陕西宝鸡曙光教会为英年早逝的李建传道举行了追思礼拜。
易莲梅长老发言，她回顾了李建传道38年短暂一生的点滴历程，重点讲述了他信主18年以来为主作工、在本堂及兄弟堂点奔波证道牧养的见证历程。
同时叙述了李建传道自去年十月份生病住院后与病魔作斗争，直到他在2020年3月11日回归天家、安息主怀的感人故事。在发言结束时，易莲梅长老通报了一个好消息，说是在李建传道生前的2020年2月，由教会推荐上报的李建牧师圣职，因疫情现状和他本人早逝，还没有来得及公示。但无论如何，易莲梅长老说：“请允许我说一句：李建牧师安息吧！ ”
接下来是李建传道的妻子黄姊妹的发言及亲属发言，她们从不同角度回忆、缅怀了李建传道信主爱主、关爱家人的一生。
