Kunming International Church Baptizes 53 persons

On August 8, the Kunming Trinity International Church held this year’s first baptism for 53 people.

Pastor Yu Jincai gave a sermon entitled, “New Life,” based on Romans 6:4. He elaborated on the importance of the  spiritual meaning of baptism for Christians. Through baptism, they are united with Christ in death, in burial, in resurrection, and belong to Christ as members of God’s household with a promise of eternal life.

They baptized 18 believers by immersion, and 35 by sprinkling water.

Yu encouraged them to follow the Lord’s teaching to be far away from sins after the baptism and to be a good witness for the Lord in their new lives.

After baptism, the believers received their first Communion.
