On June 2, venues that host religious activity will be steadily reopened in Anhui Province, according to local authorities.

Two days later, the Anhui Bureau of Ethnic and Religious Affairs released a reopening notice. The document says that the COVID-19 infection rate has been effectively controlled in religious communities since all places of worship were closed in late January.
