Activity of "Welcoming Spring Festival to Countryside" Held by Jinan CC&TSPM

On January 16, 2020, on the arrival of the Spring Festival, the Jinan CC&TSPM of Shandong Province held the activity of "welcoming the Spring Festival and sending red couplets to the countryside".

Pastor Li Fuzhen, the President of Jinan Christian Council, pointed out that the Spring Festival, as a traditional festival of China, has a long history. He said that by "Greeting the Spring Festival with spring couplets", we carry forward the fine traditional Chinese culture and promote the Sinicization of Christianity with concrete actions.

At the activity site, calligraphers wrote swiftly. One by one, Spring Festival couplets yearning for a better life, and each Chinese "FU" (blessing/fortune) word on behalf of the happy life, went out from their hands. All the couplets were immediately presented to each district, county, and persons in charge of religious activity venues.

Nearly 6,000 Spring Festival couplets were presented to more than 300 venues, and the churches of the 15 counties and districts in this activity.
