On October 9, 2019, 59 seminary graduates from across Jilin Province were identified as pastors in the provincial-level clergy recognition training ceremony.

According to the Jilin Christian Council & Three - Self Patrotioc Movement (CC&TSPM), Rev. Ren Dazhong, chairman and president of the Jilin CC&TSPM, while citing Chapters 3 and 12 from the book of 1 Samuel, exhorted the new pastors to serve with humble, submissive, pure, and faithful hearts, with a political mind, and with theological thought,.
