Prior to the traditional Mid-autumn Festival that fell on September 13, 2019, the social service staff as well as volunteers of the Jesus Church in Yicheng District, Zaozhuang, Shandong province paid visits to rural nursing homes.

During the visits, volunteers gave festive greetings and wishes to the elderly residents, talked with them and helped clean their rooms, according to Jesus Church in Yicheng District. The residents were also given food including fruit, rice, noodles, oil, and mooncakes as gifts for the festival.
