On August 20, 2019, the church in Nanzheng District, Hanzhong, Shaanxi, held a plaque unveiling ceremony.

A celebration of the church's seventh anniversary and 70th anniversary of the founding of the PRC followed, according to Shaanxi Christianity.

Originally called, "The Church in Hanzhong Economic Development Zone", it was renamed "Dahekan Church in Nanzheng District".

During the celebration, Rev. Wang Bichang, who was in charge of the church, gave a report on the commemoration activities of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

Later a report concerning the church's seventh anniversary was given.
