On April 17, 2019, 13:50 pm local time, a fire burst out near the eastern suburbs of Qipan Mountain in Shenyang, Liaoning.

11,500 residents had been evacuated and there were no casualties, according to the Shenyang Christian Council (CC) and Three-Self Patriotic Movement (TSPM).

On the second day, the Shenyang CC&TSPM distributed 50 boxes of minera water, 1000 sausages, 1000 bags of bread, and 40 boxes of coffee to workers involved in the disaster relief.
