On February 7, 2019, the third day of the 2019 Chinese Lunar calendar, the Shanxi Linfen Church held a social for its single young members.

Elder Chen Li, the church leader, shared a biblical message on marriage and families with 23 participants.

They showed their own talents in a drum-and-pass game and those who wanted to get to know each other better exchanged their contact information.

Since 2017, the Linfen Church has successfully organized a fellowship for single people of marriageable age and older. It was said that the fellowship would host a social gathering for middle-aged Christians who have been divorced or widowed.
