On February 7, 2019, 48 people were baptized in Linyin, Shandong province, according to the Linyin China Christian Council (CCC) & Three Self Patriotic Movement (TSPM).

Before the baptismal service, Rev. Zhang Jianshun, vice-president of the Shandong CCC&TSPM, and other church workers asked the candidates faith and doctrinal questions.

Later the newly baptized believers received baptismal certificates and attended the communion service.
