On April 17, 2017, a ground-breaking ceremony for Zhu'en Church, a new church directly subordinate to the CCC&TSPM of Qitaihe, Heilongjiang was launched.

Elder Liu Shufeng, president and chairman of Qitahe CCC&TSPM, preached a sermon for the ceremony. Later, he led other pastoral staff and the local officials to stone and dig the first shovel of dirt together. The ceremony concluded with a donating activity from the pastoral staff, choirs and believers.
