Shandong Christian Association Hold Ordination Ceremony in Liaocheng

On Oct 16, 2016, the Christian Council of Shandong held an ordination ceremony in Shuangjie Christian Church, which was under the direct management of Liaocheng Christian Three-self Patriotic Movement Committee (TSPM). 5 elders were ordained in the ceremony. Members of Liaocheng TSPM, representatives for believers of the designated ordination ceremony church and believers from Shuangjie Christian Church attended the ceremony, almost 1000 people in total.

Deputy Secretary-General and Deputy Director-General of Shandong Christian Council, Pastor Wang Mengkun, quoted 3 lections from John :8:13, John :13:34-35 and John :15:7-8. He then made expostulations on the topic "Be a true disciple of the Lord." Vice President and Deputy Director of Shandong CCC, Pastor Ren Xianmin, confirmed the five elder-to-be.

During the ceremony, Chief Shepherd of Shandong CCC and Chief Shepherds of Liaocheng TSPM, 7 people laid hands on the ordained five. Pastor Ren Xianmin presented bibles and holy belts to each one of the ordained.
