Recently Fujian Theological Seminary opens the course "Greek New Testament" in the new semester, which is first-ever launched in China. A new post-doctoral fellow owning a Ph.D. in systematic theology of Southern Methodist University is hired as the teacher.

According to Fujian CCC&TSPM, the seminary has been promoted to a four-year Christian college approved by the State Administration of Religious Affairs in 2015. Also in the same year, it was moved into a new campus located in Fuwan District.

Fujian Theological Seminary, founded in 1983, provides three-year undergraduate education and training programs for working pastoral staff.  The college can hold 200 students and has cultivated 1497 pastoral staff for Fujian Province.
